Bush Honors Vets at Korean War Memorial
Bush Honors Vets at Korean War Memorial

WASHINGTON -- President Bush made a five-minute visit to the Korean War Veterans Memorial on Friday, pausing at a low black granite wall engraved with the words "Freedom is not free" that memorializes veterans of the war.

Newsday

How did they get that title out of this story?

1. Did you hear his 'speech?'
It was pathetic. Ful of 'uhs' and 'ums.' Tried to tie the sacrifice of Korean war vets to our current soldiers 'fighting for freedom,' etc. Tentative and nebulous. Typical Bush.

3. What an Honor
and he took A WHOLE FIVE MINUTES TOO

Bush honoring veterans is like Rupert Murdoch throwing a party in honor of garbagemen...pure hypocricy.

9. Korean vets remember the Chinese "bringing it on"
Most are aware that this guy is a psychopathic cowboy. Dopey would do better to honor the Korean War (and other) vets by increasing funding for VA hospitals, etc. Just about all those guys are 70 and up today and deserve the best care we can provide for them.
