School districts would have to shoulder the cost of a 1.5 percent raise for teachers, and state workers, retirees and teachers would be required to pay more of their health insurance costs.

Well, at least he kept one campaign promise, he didn't raise taxes. But already people are howling about this budget.

1. That will learn them
not to work in the public sector. We have teachers in Texas who moonlight as waiters. Our Gov, Perry(site) is not much better - but he has good hair.
