Congrats to Clark...

amazing in the stronghold of Dean's New Hampshire support. The second town just came back with Clark 6 votes, Kerry 5, Dean 3, Edwards 2, and one vote from Vincent Camp. And I didnt catch the rest.

Dixville notch Clark 8, Kerry 3, Edwards 2, Dean 1, Lieberman 1.

total in the two places that cast votes:

Clark 14

Kerry 8

Edwards 4

Dean 4

Lieberman 1

And Vincent camp(?) 1

Interesting

Good Part is that Bush came in with less votes than the aggregate Democrat vote.

10. Way to go, Wes!
Amazing!

I wonder if this is characteristic of small-town NH or a sign of things to come.

I couldn't help noticing how efficient those old-time PAPER BALLOTS were!

13. sorry, but this is bogus
There are no registered Democrats in Dixville ... only independents. Who shouldn't be allowed to vote in primaries. The primaries are supposed to be for the PARTIES to select their nominees. It isn't supposed to be the general election, for god's sake.

The independents I know like to brag about how they're such independent thinkers (implying those of us who have been loyal to a party for decades are somehow inferior). And then a state like New Hampshire lets them help pick the Democratic nominee.

What a bunch of B.S. Not even real Democrats, and this is all we'll hear all day tomorrow.

I'm Proud to be a Democrat, and when I cast my vote in my state's DEMOCRATS-ONLY primary, it'll really MEAN something!!!!!!

18. If its a high turnout with lots of independents voting
,that should be good for Clark.

17. You might have a point if we did not operate under a two-party system
but as it is, not allowing independents to vote in the primary is essentially undemocratic.

14. It's Hamm, not Camp. He was an actual candidate in 2000
and became the cause of much merriment on the primary board tonight. Just look for anything with the name Hamm in it!

Join the Hammpaign!

19. Clark was the only one to campaign in this town
It should be no surprise that he win it after he camped out there for three weeks.... In fact, if he doesn't take NH in a landslide I would say his campaign has some serious flaws.
