Straw ends press conference when quizzed on scientist's death
The British Foreign secretary Jack Straw has been forced to abruptly terminate a news conference for visiting members of the Iraqi governing council.

Mr Straw had wanted to deflect a barrage of questions over the Blair Government's role in the suspected suicide death of weapons scientist David Kelly.

The news conference heard Iraqi governing council member Doctor Adnan Pachachi welcome the deaths of Saddam Hussein's sons, but on the day that Prime Minister Tony Blair flew back into the country with his public support in the polls plummeting, all journalists wanted to do was quiz Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon about his role identifying the BBC mole as the now-dead scientist David Kelly.

1. You know, if the Bush Junta drove a scientist to suicide...
... none of them would give two shits. Another way in which the British are different.
