Summit County judge orders Taser references deleted from medical examiner's rulings
Source: Plain Dealer

Karen Farkas
Plain Dealer Reporter

Akron- Summit County Medical Examiner Lisa Kohler must delete any reference that Tasers contributed to the deaths of three men, a Summit County Common Pleas judge ordered Friday.

The deaths of Dennis Hyde and Richard Holcomb, who were on drugs and in an agitated state when police shot them with Tasers, should be ruled accidental, visiting Judge Ted Schneiderman wrote in his ruling. Any reference to homicide or "electrical pulse stimulation" should be deleted from death certificates and autopsy reports, he said...

As of mid-April, 68 wrongful-death or injury lawsuits have been dismissed or judgments entered in favor of Taser, according to the company. The company has not lost any product-liability lawsuits.

"It was an interesting case and an uphill battle," said Manley. "Taser is quite a force to be reckoned with and does everything to protect their golden egg, which is the Model X26."

8. Amazing, Isn't It...
.. what these anti-Constitution thugs have gotten away with in seven and a half years? We need to put representatives with spines and consciences in Congress... before it's too late.
Wonder just how much this tazer corporation has contributed to those calling the shots? Follow the money.... and look closely at this judge's record.

14. Exactly. Imperial Amerika is a lawless and criminal nation, from the top down
Of course, as in all totalitarian nations, Filthy Little Nobodies have rules to follow, but that isn't the same as laws applied relatively evenly across the population.

Imperial Amerika is simply a criminal roganiztaion now, and it shows at every level...like this one.

Perhaps this Bushie fuck of a criminal masquerading as a judge can order local sewer inspectors to change their reprot that the brown stuff bubbling up in the center of town is really delicious chocolate pudding.

I miss being a free person in a free nation so much. And it is highly likely that we never again will experience that in our lives.

17. That a lawless and criminal nation cannot live long and do well on the face of this earth should
be evident even to rabid ideologues and blind sheeple. :(

3. Prosecutor Manley said "The purpose of the hearing represented a singular and very narrow issue on
on whether or not the successful deployment of the Taser Model X26 could contribute in any way to the cause of death".

Tasers have never been tested on unhealthy people, only healthy people who sign the release at http://www.taser.com/SiteCollectionDocuments/Controlled%20Documents/Warnings/LG-FORM-VOLUNTER-001%20REV%20B%20Volunteer%20Exposure%20Release.pdf

It has never been tested on victims like "McCullaugh, who had a history of psychiatric illness" and could have been on medication or people like the following cited in the article:
Hyde, 30, died Jan. 5, 2005, during a struggle with Akron police. Three officers used Tasers. Hyde, of Hartville, had broken into a house through a window. He was on methamphetamine and suffered blood loss from cuts from the window.

Holcomb, 18, of Akron, died May 28, 2005, after he attacked a Springfield Township officer in a field. She shot him four times with her Taser. Kohler ruled Holcomb was also in a psychosis from using methamphetamine and Ecstasy.

I wonder if McCullaugh's heirs will bring a civil suit and whether Kohler's ruling will be a factor?

6. The judge is tampering with a witness.
I can see the judge throwing out the coroners report. Telling the prosecutor to call Marcia Clark and have her do the math on the melted Ice Cream. You don't have to have a coroners report in a trial. Not even in the most famous of all murder trials. Melting Ice Cream will suffice. But when the judge orders a witness to change their testimony to his findings. That goes far beyond being an activist judge. That's a criminal judge engaging in witness tampering from the bench. They need to slap the cuffs on and make this visiting judge a more permanent resident of the state.
