Polls: Clinton pulls even with Obama nationally
Source: AP

Obama had a 10-percentage point lead over Clinton in March. His image among Democrats is not as strong as it was, though he's still viewed more favorably than his rival for several attributes, including being more inspiring, honest and down-to-earth. Clinton is also seen less positively now, yet she has improved her standing among working-class whites and white voters under age 50. An increased number of Democrats — about half — now think the lengthy Democratic race will hurt the party. Yet a Clinton race against Republican candidate John McCain and an Obama matchup with McCain are both viewed as being close. That represents little change in a Clinton-McCain race but a drop in the 12-point advantage Obama had over McCain in March.

The poll by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center was conducted April 23-27 and involved telephone interviews with 1,502 adults. The margin of sampling error was plus or minus 3 percentage points. Included were interviews with 651 Democratic and Democratic-leaning registered voters, for whom the margin of sampling error was plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.

1. Yawn........
And tomorrow there'll be a poll saying Obama is ahead by 30. These things ebb and flow and the only real poll is the one coming on Tuesday. I cast my early vote for Obama today!

3. it's all about keeping the "horse race" going. the media does not want this to end. it's too fun!
you can get a poll to say anything you want it to say. that being said, after a week of the media fawning over wright 24/7, and fending off attacks from his opponent, mccain, and merciless scrutiny from the "punditry", the mere fact that Barack is still leading is amazing in and of itself.

8. It's All Wright all Right 24/7
And a little touch of racism, with a crazy wild black man 24/7/365

I saw it 3 times today--The reverend wright screaming unintelligible drivel-- followed by a bimbo Blonde face opining that whites are getting tired of this stuff.

9. Yeah her race-baiting tactics have worked to some extent
The pukes likely wouldn't have dared do it but now that she's legitimized it...

He'll still win though with less capital to spend in the first year. WTG HRC in fighting against the causes you're supposed to support... you vile creature.

12. A Hillbot just posted a "poll" a day or two ago that said the same thing, I thought.
It seems every couple of days a Hillary supporter posts some "poll" that shows that Clinton has for the first time! pulled even or ahead with Obama nationally!

Yawn yawn yawn. There can't possibly be this many polls in the world. If there are, those people need to find real jobs.

14. Of course, there is no national primary
The race will be decided in NC, IN and WV.

Also noteworthy: 17 percent of so-called "Democrats" who support Clinton plan to vote for him if Clinton's not the Democratic nominee.

After all this bullshit, they are going to piss away regaining the presidency for the American people in a hissy fit, like a toddler throwing a tantrum.

I am so done with the Joe Lieberman wing of the party.
