LOS ANGELES—The two major actors unions might once again join forces in negotiating with Hollywood producers.
The Screen Actors Guild is offering to let the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists take part in its upcoming contract talks, the guild announced.
SAG's national board voted late Sunday to let AFTRA join negotiations with producers on a new feature-primetime deal.
Although SAG's talks with the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers are set to begin Tuesday, the guild has given AFTRA until Wednesday to respond. An AFTRA spokeswoman said the union's response could come as early as Monday.
