RACINE, Wis. -- A Wisconsin manufacturer of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for automobiles and equipment said it will close three plants, including one in Ohio.
Modine Manufacturing Co. of Racine said about 660 jobs will be cut as part of its plan to improve profits.
The plants being closed are in Camdenton, Mo., Pemberville, Ohio, and Logansport, Ind. Last month, the company said it was closing a facility in Germany.
Modine said the closures of the three plants will take place within the next year and a half to two years.
Chief Executive Thomas Burke said the decision was difficult but the company's restructuring plan means it'll save up to $25 million a year.
Modine said it'll work with employees on severance packages.
