Baghdad, Jan 27, (VOI) – Two U.S. soldiers were killed on Sunday when two improvised explosive devices went off near their vehicle, the U.S. army said.
"A Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldier was killed Jan. 27 when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive devise in north-eastern Baghdad," according to a U.S. army statement received by Aswat al-Iraq – Voices of Iraq – (VOI).

Earlier, the U.S. military said a "Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldier was killed Jan. 26 while conducting a dismounted patrol near Kadamiyah when an improvised explosive device detonated."

The death brings the number of the U.S. troops killed in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003 to 3,934, according to statistics released by the U.S. army.
Of this number, 30 have been killed so far in January 2008.

9. ...
This type of thing happens way to often for us to just overlook. We need to get our troops out of there ASAP. It sucks that our president doesn't feel the same way and is willing to overlook these tragedies.
