Kucinich says he will continue campaigning
Associated Press - January 8, 2008 9:55 PM ET

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Democrat Dennis Kucinich, trailing in today's presidential primary, says he will carry his message all over America.

Kucinich is finishing fifth in the primary.

He said he will continue his campaign in Michigan and Ohio and elsewhere, and asked his cheering supporters to help him.

The Ohio congressman said his campaign is on the way to claim a new country.

6. The press has slandered him from the get go.
You can't propose breaking up the media and not expect them to go after you. His bravery, my reason for why he is the only candidate for whom I have any enthusism. He is not a bull shiter. And American eat up that stuff. Our money and votes will be on Kucinich for he has a consistent message. Had Nancy Pelosi listened to him , the COngressional Democrats would not have a lower approval rating than George Bush. Still, facing reality; our next Check to the Kucinich campaign and the only candidate to merit our cash is Kucinich. And that check will read. Re-elect Kucinich for Congress. Don't neglect Congress Dennis, for even there you are among a handful of members who do not triangulate with principal .

5. I admire and appreciate Dennis Kucinich ...
and I envy the good people of Ohio who have the privilege of being represented by him in Congress.

But, seriously ... when did he start campaigning?

7. Kucinich's anti-establishment, principled positions...

are the only reason that he has been marginalized, when he wasn't being ignored, in the M$M. He wants fundamental changes in the way things have been done and that terrifies the most powerful elements/people in the world.

I would hope that you would be curious as to how the Kucinich campaign has been quashed, and more importantly, why.

Unless you really care and you are willing to be diligent and think critically, chances are that you don't have a clue as to what is occurring all around you and yours. Our corporate masters will do anything, absolutely anything and everything it takes, to maintain their stranglehold on Amerikkka.

Lying, cheating, murder, and even monstrous, murderous war crimes, all committed in our names, are everyday activities to further their global hegemony.

Keeping us playing the futile politics game is an integral part of the scam. Divide and conquer. Wedge issues. Propaganda as news. Erode our constitutional rights, our best protection from government abuses, as in "the war on drugs". Corruption. Lousy public schools. Decaying infrastructure. Phony elections. And so much more...

Suckers!

Wake up, or roll over and show your belly and just how defenseless you are, maybe you will get a bone, maybe one with a shred of gristle attached, though probably not....

Once the truly rich and super rich skim the cream and most of the milk, we, all of us, almost 300 million of us, are left to return the bottles for the deposit.

All of history documents the struggle between those that have and those who have not. THe sophistication of those now running the world is such that most people have no idea that this "class war" is even happening.

Stupid, useless "news" about "celebrities", petty crime and sports is what people are offered, nothing germane, important, or even relevant.

17. I appreciate your perspective clixtox, welcome to the minority
It can be an emotionally painful task getting to the point ware your world view is more objective than it is comfortable, that combination also has a tendency to scare most people off.

History shows that the higher the degree of social good times could be measured in societies loss of critical thinking – which in turn leads the said society down the same path as preceding failed societies. It’s a cycle of bad times following good times repeated many times throughout human history. And even though the cycle has been observed and each step documented by critical thinkers and philosophers of the time - the exact causative nature of the cycle that eventually leads to the destruction of the society has never been fully understood, at least it hasn’t been fully understood until now…

Think I’m kidding, do a little research starting with this link http://www.cassiopaea.org/cass/political_ponerology_lobaczewski.htm">Political Ponerology: A Science on The Nature of Evil adjusted for Political Purposes by Andrew M. Lobachevski. And if you can, buy the book, I highly recommend it…

8. DK has my primary vote
and the few dollars I can send. In the general it will go to the Dem nominee.

One thing that I have found of late to be helpful/interesting is to suggest folks go to the various "pick your candidate" websites. Did this with my MIL and Teenage Nieces during a family gathering this holiday season. Daughter and one Niece who said they favored HRC both came up with DK in their results to the surveys. It was fun and gave everyone a chance to discuss the issues.

11. Not Compromising Either
Dennis will have my vote regardless. I love how some people sit and criticize him by stating how poorly his campaign is being run, or that he is NOT campaigning at all. This is just like the MSMs lack of reporting on the umpteen protests about the war and Bush. If you didn't see or hear of it in the media, does that mean it is not happening? The man has been stuck in a vicious cycle of non-reporting hence not much in financial support, hence not enough people to hear his message, exclusion from debates or given minuscule time and few questions, also being totally belittled in the media and by other Dems. Most of this stems from his positions, which he staunchly defends, that will remove the status quo. To many who are a part of that status quo it will be case of too much too soon for them and they are not willing to allow the rest of America to hear that message. So, what do they do? They belittle him at every turn, some running take key portions of his platform and turn it into their own and others tear him down at every opportunity.

Yes, many have been played by the media and reps on both sides to make them think that Dennis is not important, not worth listening to, not worth supporting or the time of day. So, in the end, because they see him as "not campaigning or working hard enough" they repeat the same vicious cycle and settle for more of the same. At least that is the way that I see it. Here you have a man who is working hard, trying to get his message out and stymied at every turn. So, good on him for sticking in there and trying to get his message out any way that he can! My candidate IS a fighter, too bad more are not allowed to or will not see it.

12. I worked to get him on the ballot in Virginia
and I hope to vote for him on Feb 21. But by that time it really won't matter. Mine will be a vote of conscience only.

If I were in an early primary state I might be conflicted right now.

13. Stay the course, DK. You're my candidate.
No matter how grim it looks out there, we need you to keep the issues before the people since most of the top candidates are more interested in going after each other. Just please, lay off the personal attacks of the front-runners. Dems need to emerge from this campaign "whole."

15. Dumbing down
That's sadly just proof of the dumbing down of the masses. Unless Americans vote with their intellect, conscience, and moral convictions, we're doomed to another four years of Bushco lite. Same bullshit, less filling. Dennis is by far the greatest candidate running, and it's embarrassing how the public follows the media hype and doesn't protest the media manipulation by voting for him and not the preselected candidates by MSM.

20. I was wondering about that.
Thanks for the welcome, and compliment on my screen name...:). After what happened in Iowa and New Hampshire, I fear my moniker is dead on. We've become the United States of Idiocracy. It truly baffles me that Americans aren't supporting Kucinich! Could the masses really be stupid that they'll elect style over substance for our next president?! Popularity trumps principle, should be the mantra for this election. I can't figure it out. It seriously makes my head hurt.
