01/08/2008 --

A roadside bomb killed two soldiers from the U.S.-led coalition in eastern Afghanistan, and a homicide bomber on a motorcycle attacked a border police patrol in the south, killing a policeman, officials said.

Clashes and another roadside bomb left nine people dead elsewhere.

In the eastern blast, one other U.S.-led coalition soldier was wounded when the roadside bomb hit their vehicle Monday in Kot district of Nangarhar province, the coalition said in a statement. The military originally announced that two soldiers were wounded but later said one of the wounded had died.

The nationalities of the dead and the wounded soldiers were not released. The majority of the troops in that area are American.

1. the aspect of
a long occupation is in training the resistance which spreads to every other country. Inevitable and also inevitable is the futility in trying to play chess with counter strategies. By playing you lose. By losing in the end, you leave behind well trained veteran victors as well.

4. Every successful bomber is a homicide bomber
To be a suicide bomber is something additional, and quite relevant. This sort of Fox framing is propaganda.

If a "homicide bomber" blew himself up, but didn't kill any of his intended victims, would Fox call him an "attempted homicide" bomber?

5. And stupid framing too. I think they would call them "pedophile bombers"
if they thought that would work better.
