Hillary Clinton Says She Is 'Most Innocent' on Campaign Trail
Source: ABC News

Sen. Hillary Clinton went on the counterattack today, one day after a stinging defeat in the Iowa caucuses to Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.

She said New Hampshire voters need to take a hard look at Obama, suggesting that they shouldn't just buy into his message of "hope" without analyzing his policies.

Clinton said she wasn't suggesting anything in particular about Obama, but simply "drawing contrasts."

"I'm running on my record. … I'm running on my plans," Clinton told reporters. "I think everybody needs to be vetted and tested. That's the way elections are supposed to operate. The last thing the Democrats need is to just move quickly through this process."

...

Asked what she meant when she said earlier to a crowd in Nashua, N.H., that all of the vetting and investigations of her record had found her "most innocent," Clinton simply said: "I think I come into this race tested and proven and ready to take on the Republicans no matter what they send my way."

1. She is right. Obama ahd Hillary are about as close as two candidates can get.

Obama had the luxury of not being a senator during the IWR vote. Luckilly Obama is a nice guy. He gives great speeches and he doesn't have a long national career in politics on which people can build the insider label. But make no mistake. IF he had a longer national career many of you wouldn't like him as much as you do.

Though he says he wouldn't have...I don't feel 100% that he wouldn't have voted yes. He'd be just as afraid that the Rethugs would use his no vote as a weakness on terror label.

OBAMA is not a progressive people. If you are supporting him because you think he is...you are gonna be pissed.

I like Biden, Hillary then Obama in that order and Hillary and Obama are just about even on my scale with only .5 of a point separating them in my eyes.

Oh and if Hillary is innocent, I'm Halle Berry.

14. He's Plenty Progressive Enough...
... for this life-long Dem. This is just not the year to be running for anything if your name is bush or Clinton. I hate triangulators, and I think we all know who the "expert" is on that deceptive and too cute by half practice.

7. "The last thing the Democrats need is to just move quickly through this process." LOL
If I am not mistaken it was the Clintons who pushed to do exactly that. They wanted to push these primaries through fast and furious because they thought Hillary was going to get the rubber stamp. Now they want to slow it down.

16. Exactly.
All of her goons that tried to verbally strong-arm everybody here are innocent too. I thought only bush lived in the land of fairy tales and make believe. Now I get it, bush gave her a license to drive through fairytale land so that he could keep an eye out on her.

23. Her phoniness is so apparent. Voters can see it and smell it.
She thought she could just bludgeon everyone with her inevitability. Ain't gonna happen, Hill.

19. Millions of Iraqis and Americans might opine otherwise.
There is some blood on her hands, more than on most other Dem candidates.

She's one of the least innocent.

20. In unrelated news......Norman Hsu loses freedom bid, sentenced to 3 years. A real "HillRaiser",
Hsu's status within Hillary Rodham Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign had risen to the level where he was a someone who had "bundled" more than $100,000 for her campaign.

24. But too many people working for her are not.
I think she's caused herself a world of hurt letting her people run around making wild accusations and insinuations about the other candidates. It only bounces back on her and strengthens the negatives already out there about her.
