1. Hillary's worst nightmare, and despite all the pre-emptive posturing

and "endorsements" from Bush and Rove themselves.

A "squeaker" victory won't be enough to discourage Obama and Edwards.

2. I don't think she'll win
I think she'll place 2nd or even 3rd in Iowa and then go on and do well in NH, SC, NV and score big on Super Tuesday with the Big States -- CA, NY, NJ, etc.

3. The races have tightened in CA and NV

And if she can't win the "simplest" primaries decisively, Obama or Edwards might be able to shake away enough votes in the larger states if they pour it on.

From Huffinton Post:

"Amongst likely voters in the Democratic primary scheduled for Feb. 5, 45 percent said they preferred the former First Lady. That's more than twice the total of Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, her nearest rival, who got 20 percent of the vote. Former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards received 11 percent of the vote."

and there's this:

"New York Senator Hillary Clinton is in the lead with now with 45%, which is down from 51% in October, but higher than the 37% she had last year and the 40% in June of 2007.

Illinois Senator Barack Obama is in second place with 18%, his highest percentage ever. He has been on a roller coaster ride in Nevada starting out with 12% last December, moving up to 16% in June of 2007, then down to 11% in October."

7. If she wins Iowa, it's over ...
If she doesn't win Iowa, it simply continues.

Barack/Edwards need to win Iowa; Hillary doesn't.
But she just might.

8. The media
Doesn't give enough fair time to all the canidates. They seem to pick their favorites and if you're not in those you might as well drop.

I don't want any of those goobers, I want Kuninich.
