Bush calls on Iran to 'come clean'
Source: AP

OMAHA, Neb. - President Bush, trying to keep pressure on Iran, called on Tehran Wednesday to "come clean" about the scope of its nuclear activities or else face diplomatic isolation.

Two days after a new intelligence report said that Iran had halted its nuclear weapons program four years ago, Bush demanded that Tehran detail its previous program to develop nuclear weapons "which the Iranian regime has yet to acknowledge."

"The Iranians have a strategic choice to make," he said. "They can come clean with the international community about the scope of their nuclear activities, and fully accept the long-standing offer to suspend their enrichment program and come to the table and negotiate, or they can continue on a path of isolation."

The administration is worried that the new National Intelligence Estimate — representing a consensus of all U.S. spy agencies — weakens its leverage over Iran and its ability to build global pressure on Tehran to stop its uranium enrichment program.

Would rather rely on his own "Faith-Based Intelligence". He just KNOWS that Iran is up to no good.

Just STFU already, George.

15. Correction: He KNOWS what the NIE says
and he BELIEVES Iran is still a threat. So, if he continues to KNOW what the NIE says and never doubts that he BELIEVES Iran is still a threat then he can't be wrong. See? It's freeper logic.:silly:

16. No kidding!
Every time this snake disappears I start getting the bomb shelter ready. This guy is pure evil!!! He needs to be in a very small room with bars all around him and be watched 24/7. Something bad happens every time he disappears.

I read in the KC Star this morning that the shooter is going to be in KC on Friday giving some kind of war mongering speech at the WWI monument.

He's probably dreaming about the WWIII monument right now.

13. How long is it going to take
for people to realize that this guy is a psycho? He is falling into the abyss now because he cannot comprehend that his truth is not being accepted anymore. His truth is the only truth there is. Look at KR and the lies he is still spinning about who started the Iraq war. He too is a psycho. They are joined at the frontal lobes in their psychotic paranoid world. I mean they are certifiable!
Watch the dimwit keep escalating his rhetoric about the NIE justifying his past actions and the NIE will be pleading for him to bomb Iran. God will tap the chimp on the shoulder and say to him, "Go forth with your nucular weapons and destroy the evil empire of Iran. You will replace their Islamism with democracy and the entire world will be bowing at your feet for having saved humanity."

At least he says the voice he hears is that of God.

Certifiable.

27. Presidential Visit: Bush urges Iran to make full disclosure of its nuclear activities
Source: Omaha World Herald

BY ROBYNN TYSVER

OMAHA - President Bush stood on a airport tarmac in Omaha on Wednesday and delivered a stark warning to Iran: "come clean" on its nuclear activities or face diplomatic "isolation."

Bush said that he and other nations, such as France and Britain, continue to believe Iran's nuclear activity is a "problem" despite a U.S. spy report's conclusion that Iraq has no nuclear weapons program.

"The Iranians have a strategic choice to make," he said. "They can come clean with the international community about the scope of their nuclear activities, and fully accept the long-standing offer to suspend their enrichment program and come to the table and negotiate, or they can continue on a path of isolation."

Republican Senate candidate Mike Johanns, left, looks on as President Bush makes a statement at the airport.

Bush was in Omaha to bolster a former employee Mike Johanns' campaign for U.S. Senate. Johanns served as Bush's U.S. Agriculture Secretary for several years, before resigning to come home and run for the Senate. The president was expected to attend a Johanns fundraiser in Omaha and tour a health clinic in South Omaha.
