Las Vegas Debate Is Most-Watched Primary Debate on Record

CNN's Democratic Presidential debate last night was the most-watched debate this cycle. CNN says it's also the highest-rated primary debate of all time. Nielsen fast national final data (Live + SD) shows the 8pm-10:09pm ET debate averaged 4.036 million total viewers. The debate was also the highest-rated debate in the adult demo, with 1.123 million A25-54 viewers.

1. That's the highest rated debate of all time?
I would have thought more.

4. True, and, they did really well last night

CNN in their last segment this afternoon mentioned Biden quite a few times and they were all positive. Hard to believe, I know...... Will they do it again and also mention the lower tier group more. Wolfie is yacking away now, the usual drivel.

Edit for spelling and to add: Could it show that America is waking up to how serious this election is?

5. WHY only cable networks??
Are the normal networks...ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS ...EVER going to get to host a debate so the less affluent folks can see their choices?? It's ALWAYS on cable networks....where only cable subscribers can watch.

Is this what it comes down to now?

I get so frustrated with our censored media outlets. I could care less that the repugs don't get to hear the neocon fascist debates...but the choice is too important for the Democratic debates for the public NOT to hear who the next president will be to lead this country out of the toilet it has sunk into.

The more we hear these candidates, the more clear the picture will be as to who we want to lead us. True, a lot of BS and "good tunes", but you get a sense of who is controlled by "corps and big business" and who are the straight shooters.

The more we are allowed to hear Kucinich..the more we can see THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. The major networks don't give him the time of day except to highlight his beautiful wife and his claim of UFO's...two items that mean NOTHING to the future of this country. Such BS.

7. ustream and gravel
pbs and nbc have already had televised debates http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_presidential_debates%2C_2008 and if mike gravel is excluded on any future ones he broadcasts them on www.ustream.tv with his commentary (a much more enjoyable watch as i found out last night). i feel your frustration, check out all the internet videos of mike gravel and vote for the national initiative.
