Putin warns against new Iran sanctions 10 minutes ago

LISBON, Portugal - Russian President Vladimir Putin warned Thursday against new international sanctions against Iran, saying they would lead to a dead end.

"Why worsen the situation by threatening sanctions and bring it to a dead end?" Putin said in a veiled reference to the U.S. push for harsher international sanctions against Tehran.

"It's not the best way to resolve the situation by running around like a madman with a razor blade in his hand."

Putin said the standoff around Iran's nuclear program needs to be resolved through talks, pointing at North Korea as an example.

"Not long ago it didn't seem possible to resolve the situation with North Korea peacefully" but the dispute has been solved, he said.

So true.

6. Oh, New Stalin, you are such a card. Bitch all you want. New Hitler is going to attack you
anyway.

It may be sooner or it may be later. Given the laughable charades the BushPutinist governments put on to convince their own enslaved peoples they are still free, it will likely be someone other than New Hitler and New Stalin who will do the biddings of their BushPutinist Masters.

7. Putin Warns Against Sanctions on Iran
Source: AP

LISBON, Portugal (AP) — Russia's President Vladimir Putin on Thursday warned strongly against new international sanctions on Iran, saying they would lead to a dead end.

Putin, in Portugal for a summit with leaders of the European Union, said the standoff over Iran's nuclear program should be resolved through talks, pointing at North Korea as an example.

"Why worsen the situation and bring it to a dead end by threatening sanctions or military action," Putin said in a veiled reference to the U.S. push for harsher international sanctions against Tehran.

"Running around like a madman with a razor blade, waving it around, is not the best way to resolve the situation," the Russian leader said.

You know. All the US is trying to do is privatize Iran's banks by forcing a boycott. This has nothing to do with security and Putin knows it. It's just going to be a matter of time before Russia fires up it's nuclear weapons and puts them back on standby. The Bush bastards are out-of-control with their privatize-with-war bullshit. An opportunist clusterfuck! If Putin doesn't stand up for Iran, they will come after his government owned oil companies!

8. North Korea accepted money to shut up and calm down...
Iran doesn't want to accept our leaders view of a new world order so they have to go like Saddam.

9. No. The real deal is, like Iraq, BushCheneyExxon&Co want Iran's
oil (in the 3/4 - 4/5 range), and they could never get it (while charging the US taxpayers and abusing the troops) by just asking for it "politely" (so they've got to LIE to end up getting it for FREE).

It's working in Iraq. See?

Why would they stop there?

Nobody's gonna stop them here, and they KNOW it.
