..Wolfowitz says morale of U-S troops still high
Pentagon-AP

Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz says contrary to rumor, the morale of U-S troops in Iraq remains high.

He's just back from what he calls a "whirlwind tour" of Iraq -- where he says Iraqis expressed "enormous gratitude" for U-S and British efforts to topple Saddam Hussein's regime. But Wolfowitz says fear is still pervasive in Iraq -- and that showing proof of Saddam's sons' deaths could help relieve some of that fear. He says whether to release photos of the bodies is something U-S officials "have got to think through."Wolfowitz says the conflict in Iraq is a guerrilla war in some ways. ---

1. I think wolfie is the one that is high
As if they are going to let him talk to a bunch of unhappy Iraqis. And I'm sure the troops are not going to risk complaining to him either.

Unlike the troops, I would imagine that wolfie had access to all the water and toilet paper he needed. Not to mention air conditioning.

4. I guess wolfie did not read this article in Asia Times
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/

Spells out here in black and white how the Iraqis that really matter right now to the troops (the ones Attacking them!) don't give a crap about Saddam and his sons. It is so much deeper than that wolfie you fuck head! Then again you never fucking cared about the troops anyway.

How could someone whose supposed to be such a genius, live in such a fantasy world?

If they are this clueless about reality, and they didn't have a clue about 9-11, how could they have possibly have a clue about anything else?

17. Yes morale is high
Because the pentagon has told them they will be punished if they keep speaking their mind. This only came out last week after an interview of the troops by the T.V. media. Wolfie was just cheking to see if the orders were being followed.

21. US troops morale high
I'm sure that when they first heard that wolfie was being sent to Iraq, it was high. When they found out that he was just visiting and not being assigned to patrol, I'm sure it fell right back down.

23. what would Wolfowitz know about the military?
he avoided his chance to serve in the military, too busy studying the fascist Strauss and doing math puzzles.

Can anyone see Wolfowitz going through boot camp ? yea, right next to lardass richard perle.

Yea right, the neo-cons give a shit about the working poor serving as grunts, in their PNAC "grand scheme".

24. Wolfowitz - the PNAC Propagandist!
Wow, am I impressed! Paul W, - went around and interviewed every Iraqi and every single GI on his "whirlwind tour!" The guy is an absolute wonder! Of course, he's the one who said the Iraqis would be dancing in the streets after we invade and kill thousands of their people! The man is clairvoyant. How did he know all that? Whatta guy! How comforting it is to know that Iraqis appreciate and welcome invaders, and that our guys and gals in uniform love being picked off one at a time in 117 degree heat. I'm so relieved. Sigh. Oh well, the Brothers Grim are dead, and we're all safe from harm. Not.

25. LOL!
This is just hilarious. I wonder, Mr. Wolfowitz, where your morale would be if you were stuck in 100+ degree weather with several dozen pounds of gear on your back, forever worrying if you will get shot. And when you realize that you have no business whatsoever being there. Let's not forget that you've been told three times that you're coming home. I wonder, Mr wolfowitz, how you would feel.
