Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz says contrary to rumor, the morale of U-S troops in Iraq remains high.

He's just back from what he calls a "whirlwind tour" of Iraq -- where he says Iraqis expressed "enormous gratitude" for U-S and British efforts to topple Saddam Hussein's regime.But Wolfowitz says fear is still pervasive in Iraq -- and that showing proof of Saddam's sons' deaths could help relieve some of that fear. He says whether to release photos of the bodies is something U-S officials "have got to think through."Wolfowitz says the conflict in Iraq is a guerrilla war in some ways. ---

Unlike the troops, I would imagine that wolfie had access to all the water and toilet paper he needed. Not to mention air conditioning.

Wow, am I impressed! Paul W, - went around and interviewed every Iraqi and every single GI on his "whirlwind tour!" The guy is an absolute wonder! Of course, he's the one who said the Iraqis would be dancing in the streets after we invade and kill thousands of their people! The man is clairvoyant. How did he know all that? Whatta guy! How comforting it is to know that Iraqis appreciate and welcome invaders, and that our guys and gals in uniform love being picked off one at a time in 117 degree heat. I'm so relieved. Sigh.
