S. African bishop: Condoms tainted with AIDS

MAPUTO, Mozambique - The head of the Catholic church in Mozambique said on Wednesday he believed some European-made condoms were deliberately tainted with the HIV/AIDS virus to kill African people.

“I know of two countries in Europe who are making condoms with (the) virus on purpose, they want to finish with African people as part of their program to colonize the continent,” Archbishop Francisco Chimoio told Reuters.

“I also know some companies who are manufacturing anti-retroviral drugs already infected with the virus, also in order to finish quickly the African people,” Chimoio said.

The Catholic Church, followed by 17 percent of Mozambique’s population, opposes the use of condoms. He declined to name the European countries in question or the source of his allegations.

He's suggesting Europe actually cares enough about Africa to be involved in some way. The real truth is that the outside world doesn't care anything about Africa, and totally ignores it; not that there's some vast conspiracy out there. Conspiracy nuts always miss this point. A conspiracy like this would imply that non-Africans actually pay any attention or care about what's happening in Africa (albeit in a malevolent way).

Apparently, these condoms are swimming in some kind of plasma-like fluid, kept at body temperature from production through shipping, shelf-time, after-sale storage ... right up till they're used!

The twit claiming the condoms were tainted should really find a rock and go hide under it. His claim doesn't hold any water, any weight, he said it from a vacuum. The one between his ears.

Now they claim some strains can survive for a while (in hours), but if the fluid becomes dry, the risks are dropped 90~99%. How long does it take for a box of condoms to get shipped from Europe to their intended users anyway? We haven't developed teleportation yet, so I'm thinking days, weeks, if not a fair month. Not one span of time would allow the virus to survive.

Indeed, it's known the virus cannot easily reproduce outside the human body. Unlike humans.

Here's a clue on how to really prevent the transmission of this disease: Use fresh condoms each time.

Here's another clue: Don't do unto other humans the way bunnies do unto other bunnies. Have some respect for your body and for others'.

And a third: Don't share needles, if you're into that sort of thing.

A fourth: Be careful where you get you transfusion blood from. Those who do the transfusions should have regulations to ensure this risk is minimized.

And a fifth: Don't poke holes with a pin into the condom.

I think he actually knows exactly what he is doing. We all know that the African Catholic Church is vehemently opposed to the use of condoms. What better way to achieve that than to spread fear about their use. Happened many time before about some excuse how condoms don't work or are bad in some way. Hazardous to health etc....
