China installs Pope-backed bishop
Source: BBC

A new Roman Catholic bishop of Beijing has been consecrated in the Chinese capital, the first for over 50 years to have tacit approval of the Pope.

1. I liked the add on to the story
Are you a Chinese Roman Catholic? How significant is the development? Will it lead to more religious freedom in China?

Then goes into list where you can put your name and personal data. How Stupid can you be? If you OPPOSE what the Chinese Government is doing (or did in the past) and you give a response showing that opposition, it gives the Chinese Government the agility to track you down and arrest you. If you Support the Government's action, you have to be careful to follow what the Government wants to hear. Either way it is an invitation to disaster. I know the BBC would like ot hear from all sides, but this method of asking is just plan stupid. Who thought of this? or is its standard policy for the BBC? or is it just plain carelessness?
