Officials believe the bones came from a batch of cows that were slaughtered in Washington on the same day as the animal later diagnosed with mad cow disease.

Federal officials have recalled about 10,000 pounds of beef from those animals, although they say the meat is probably safe. The disease is found in the cow's brain, spinal cord and lower part of the small intestine.

Officials said bones from the same batch also went to six restaurants, but the officials said federal regulations prohibit them from releasing the names of the restaurants.

Dammit why don't people organize and MAKE these businessnesses and the FDA release the names of the restaurants..that way the people who eat there might be able to get tests.THe greedy fuckers are not gonna come clean by themselves,they aren'yt gonna regularte they are gonna do squat unless they are forced by many,many angry people demanding changes and answers one way or another things HAVE to change,by boycott,public exposure shame,protests,or riots.Something has to give.Are we that pathetic?
