They sure are digging a hole for themselves if it is untrue. Could be due to wishful thinking or deception at this point.

This morning, Sanchez really seemed to be eliminating any future possibility of blaming an ID error on a "fall guy" though. He said 4 different reliable people did the ID.

So if it does turn out to be untrue: man, is he stupid!

A raid lead by the same taskforce that supposedly "rescued" Jessica Lynch, on the very day the Bush admin admits they lied about the Niger Uranium deal, and at the same time as the Lynch homecoming, the day before the 9/11 report was due to be released.

9. Not so fast...

It is possible that the reason that Baghdad fell so easily is because the US did a deal with Uday and Qusay (who were repectively the commanders of the Saddam Fedayeen and the Republican and Special Republican Guards). This little show yesterday may have been the culmination of that deal.

Dead or not, doesn't negate the fact that we preemptively invaded a country to rid a bloodthirsty ruler we supported for years.
