The GOP YouTube Debate Is Back On
Source: Washington Post

This just in: The Republican CNN/YouTube debate, in limbo for the past few weeks, is on again.

But Mitt Romney, who won Saturday's Iowa straw poll and has criticized the debate format, has yet to commit to the Nov. 28 event.

Romney, the lone GOP holdout, has posted more videos on his YouTube channel (283 as of Sunday afternoon) than any other presidential candidate, Republican or Democrat. But he has resisted the debate, in which videotaped questions are submitted through YouTube. In an interview with Manchester Union Leader, Romney said, "I think the presidency ought to be held at a higher level than having to answer questions from a snowman."

That drew a video response from Billiam, the snowman who questioned the Democrats on global warming last month in their YouTube debate. This time, he riffed on another Romney quote from the campaign: "Lighten up slightly."

1. is mitt like bush the coward, only takes questions from screened people??
no questions from people who might actually disagree with him?

questions like, if you love americans dying in the iraq occupation so much, why is it that none of your sons are there?

2. yeah those unscreen actual citizens are causing Romney
all kinds of grief. The woman who asked about his sons not serving. And remember the waitress who challenged him on lack of affordable health insurance in U.S.

3. My question
Was your sons' mission to protect Iowa from insurgents successful or were they forced off the road by dangerous cowpies?

Have you asked Bush to give them the Medal of Freedom for their brave service to the country?

I'll never stop being snarky about this one.

4. Would not surprise me one bit
if this one is fixed....I would be willing to say a month or so out from this silliness, the questions will be more about the "surge" working and the willingness to stay...Then there will be questions concerning HRC and Obama...This will not be the same type questions as were in the Dems utube debate...Mark my words....

I want to alert all du members there has been and it tis still going on a great PR blitz from the White House and its conservatives allies to begin building public support for a long term occipation in Iraq.....This PR blitz is trying to convince the Congress and the MSM(in which they already bought into it) that just enough progress has been made to justify staying...You can bet, come September when the general gives his evaluation it will be 50 50.....BE AWARE BE VERY AWARE OF THE MSM SELLING THIS IDEA...

I do thank you
Ben David
