U.S. force not ruled out in Pakistan
Source: Associated Press

The U.S. would consider military force if necessary to stem al-Qaida's growing ability to use its hideout in Pakistan to launch terrorist attacks, a White House aide said Sunday.

The president's homeland security adviser, Fran Townsend, said the U.S. was committed first and foremost to working with Pakistan's president, Pervez Musharraf, in his efforts to control militants in the Pakistan-Afghanistan border region. But she indicated the U.S. was ready to take additional measures.

"Just because we don't speak about things publicly doesn't mean we're not doing things you talk about," Townsend said, when asked in a broadcast interview why the U.S. does not conduct special operations and other measures to cripple al-Qaida.

"Job No. 1 is to protect the American people. There are no options off the table," she said

2. But what about Iran?
Won't they feel neglected if we do Pakistan first?

And by the way, do these morons know what the population of Pakistan is? Or the combined populations of Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan?

3. Why would they know that? They didn't know a goddamn thing about
Iraq before them bombed the place back to the Dark Ages? The didn't listen to Putin when he warned them that Afganistan would be more than the could handle.

Stupidity has never stopped these people before. Why would it matter now?

5. Stupidity Is What Keeps Them Going
If they had an ounce of sense or conscience, the whole conspiracy would have been abandoned a long time ago. Talk about your lemmings!

And if the American people as a whole were not so stupid, the regime would have been thrown out in 2004, if not sooner.

And if our Democratic majority ledership weren't so stupid, we'd be done with impeachment and working on extradiction to the Hague for war crimes.

7. They know.
A lot of what they do currently is driven by pure adrenaline-driven fear, rather than out of strength.

Populations
Pakistan ~ 160,757,000
Iran ~ 70,218,000
Iraq ~ 28,993,000
Afghanistan ~ 27,145,000

Now when 'Big Mouth' William Kristol says "the US is planning to bomb Pakistan" he knows we LACK the ability to do so. He even said "We'll do it and we won't even tell Musharraf". As if Musharraf doesn't read the newspapers or tries to keep tabs on what Big Daddy is up to.
That fact alone tells you the US is hoping the 'scare tactics' will do the job. We can't indiscriminately drop bombs wherever we feel like it. Those days are gone.

This is 100% Saber Rattling.
