Conn. Voters Dismayed by Rowland Revelation
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,106902,00.html

According to a recent University of Connecticut poll, 55 percent of residents surveyed said the governor should step down. A Quinnipiac University (search) poll of residents taken shortly after the cottage story broke showed 45 percent in favor of a resignation, 44 percent saying Rowland should stay and 11 percent undecided.

That same poll revealed that 73 percent of respondents said they believed Rowland is dishonest.

1. We are investigating impeachment.
The dems are finally moving, but our fearless leader in the legislature does not want to be Lt. Gov. so he is looking for way out. Way to go Kevin!

2. Please explain the numbers so I don't have to go to
that faux news website :puke: to read the article.

73% think he's dishonest, but only 55% or 45% want him to resign? This means 18% - 28% of the voters think he's dishonest but should stay in office?

Oh, I understand. They're repukes; their dishonesty is okay.

:puke:

Just glad I'm not in Connecticut. Oh, I forgot. I'm in Arizona, where the pukes (Symington, Groscost, et alia) are just as dishonest.

:puke: again.

7. Conn. Voters Dismayed...(read Sarcasm)
This story was on FOXNews.com? Don't the LIBERAL MEDIA
ELITISTS at FOX News have better things to do? Shouldn't they
put their energy into blaming Clinton for everything? How
dare they defile one of our proud family of
RePUKElicans???!!!! So what if it's true? Rowland is GOP,
untouchable. Don't they understand that only Democrats are
evil and must be exposed? Surely some hippie elitist web
programmer did this without the consent of Mr. Rove and Mr.
Murdoch.

8. Dismayed?
Hasn't the stench of corruption been around this guy for awhile? I can't believe the public is divided as to whether he should stay or go.

But the republicans here are as blind/stupid as on the national level.

Bill Curry, who ran against Rowland in the last election, came right out and said all this stuff was going on, and he was laughed at. The local political cartoonist focused on the fact that Curry was fat, and they called him "Buddha Belly." Deep political discussion.

Yes, just as do the republicans on the national level, the CT voters focused entirely on the superficial, and ignored -- outright ignored -- the evidence presented by Curry that Rowland was a crook. Now, CT is probably second only to Rhode Island as being the most corrupt state in the union, as the mayors of the state's two largest cities sit in prison on MAJOR nastiness (one for paying a prostitute to screw her pre-teen children, the other for the same thing Rowland did), and now Rowland. I've only lived here two years, but this state SUCKS...and we live 5 minutes from "metropolitan" Hartford, a big city that shuts down tighter than a drum at 5:00, it is so poorly planned and mismanaged.

And the city's motto...."Hartford...New England's Rising Star!"

...and MY rising lunch....*URP*

13. Another of those peculiar fake polls. 73% find him untrustworthy but
44% want him to stay??? Republicans have simply rolled over. "We don't care if he's a traitor or a liar or a thief or a murderer, he's got an 'R' by his name therefore he's my man...." Amazing lack of depth!
