What a great slogan. Just the sort of thing the modern conservative loves. All neatly packed into a two or three word slogan. And being they prefer their leaders to be dumb as hell ala the Chimpster, they should take this one up for their new savior, Fred "Dumb as Hell" Thompson.

15. This loyalty to Nixon might actually help Thompson with the Republican base

They seem to prize loyalty above integrity and there has been a hidden undercurrent of support for Nixon in some quarters for many years now. I'll bet this revelation helps Ol' Fred, even the "dumb" characterization. Both Reagan and Dubya were famous for not being smart or all there, and for some reason, the Republican base, and some undecideds, seem to like that.
