to mention most of this stuff in it's articles.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A29993-2003Dec25.htmlhttp://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A30985-2003Dec25.htmlThe jump line for one is "French Police Question Suspicious Passengers". Misleading--they were released because they weren't suspicious after all!
The jump line for the other is "Terror Threat Grounds Flights" not that the French found NO evidence of anything.
And the Whore, I mean Post, did not say that the reason the planes were grounded was because the U.S. would not let them land here! Instead, the article says " A French airline canceled six flights between Paris and Los Angeles yesterday out of fear of terrorist hijackings." Not the same thing.
And the Post mentioned that "One of those who did not appear for the Christmas Eve flight apparently is a trained pilot, one U.S. official said." But it did NOT research to find out what the Scotsman reported:
"A Tunisian national with a pilot's license who was on a US list of suspicious people was found to be still in Tunisia and had no plans to leave the country, he said. The Tunisian had no criminal record and did not belong to any Islamic radical groups."
Nevertheless, the Post still gave the US props for a fake terror victory. "U.S. government officials said they believe they might have averted a terrorist attack by arranging for the flights' cancellation." What an insult. The fact that the French found nothing is irrelevent. Those incompetent frogs can't catch terrorists.
Also, no comets hit the Earth that day, no doubt thanks to arranging for the flights' cancellation. Prove otherwise!
Anyway, they can use this fake incident to justify the Orange Alert, with the Post's help, of course.
That paper is getting worse and worse.
