4. Oh? Again?
See, that's chimpy's problem. He's fighting the
undead.

If he's ever going to win the war on Terra, he needs
to arm the troops with garlic, silver crosses, stakes,
and appropriate mallets.

Oh, and holy water. Lots of that.

5. .....

"Mullah Dadullah has been killed and his body is in Kandahar," one
official told Reuters.

*snip*

And his replacement has already assumed his post...

The "top commander" of any military organization is only one step above a trained subordinate...this kind of thing is what allows for promotions in the chain-of-command during wartime.
Still...another one bites the dust...

NATO confirms Mullah Dadullah is dead
(CNN) -- NATO's International Security Assistance Forces confirmed earlier reports made by the Afghan government Sunday that top Taliban leader Mullah Dadullah Lang was killed in southern Afghanistan.

A NATO statement said he "left his sanctuary into southern Afghanistan where he was killed in a U.S.-led coalition operation supported by NATO."

The operation against Dadullah was made possible "by the Afghan National Security Forces and the Afghan people," the statement said.

According to government spokesman Khaleeq Ahmad, Dadullah was brought down by a joint Afghan army-police operation backed by NATO air support in southern Helmand Province.

11. one legged man got his ass kicked
.......

An Associated Press reporter said the body, which was lying on a bed and dressed in a traditional Afghan robe, had no left leg and three bullet wounds: one to the back of the head and two to the stomach. Dadullah lost a leg fighting against the Soviet army that occupied Afghanistan in the 1980s.

15. You make a very good point. Maybe the bush** administration should
publish the membership roster of the Taliban and al Quaeda. Then maybe we could keep track. Make scorecards.

Like the death of one man will turn the situation in Afganistan around? Excuse me, but we've lost that one too. And we didn't need to. If the US Government had kept its eye on the ball and concentrated on Afganistan.

Don't reminde me, I know. No oil, no oil.

18. 3 Taliban released for Italian journalist killed with top commander
KABUL, Afghanistan: Three Taliban who had been released from prison in exchange for a kidnapped Italian journalist were killed alongside the insurgency's top field commander over the weekend, the Afghan intelligence service said Wednesday.

Mullah Dadullah, a one-legged militant who orchestrated a rash of Taliban suicide attacks and beheadings, died of gunshot wounds in a U.S.-led operation over the weekend in the southern province of Helmand.

An official with Afghanistan's intelligence service identified the three others as Mullah Shah Mansoor — Dadullah's brother — Mullah Hamdullah and Commander Ghafar. They had been freed in March in a prisoner swap for the release of Italian journalist Daniele Mastrogiacomo.

The prisoner swap was widely criticized in Afghanistan in part because two Afghans kidnapped with Mastrogiacomo were not freed as part of that deal and were executed by the Taliban.
