1. Is That A Good Thing?

I hope Malvo is rehabilitated in Prison so he can
live a worthwhile life when he is reincarnated.

2. I live in the D.C. area, in fact about 2 miles or so

from the Home Depot where the CIA gal was shot, but I'm glad Malvo didn't get the death penalty. I'd hate to be the guy pulling the switch on some kid 19 years old and I'd hate the idea of my tax dollars paying someone to have to do that. See I feel sorry for people working in prisons. I don't believe in Institutional murder and I don't want to compel someone to kill someone else.

This is a victory against Ashcroft, who gleefully moved the trials to Virginia even though Maryland had the most murders because the suspects had a better chance of getting the death penalty.

And the jury just looked at how young Malvo was and most likely mentally disturbed and two days before Christmas they just couldn't kill someone.

Mercy overcame them. You know, that's the best news I've heard all day.
