Explosion at Chinese hotel kills two in apparent bombing

An explosion killed two people outside a hotel Tuesday in the second apparent bomb attack in southern China
in days, the official Xinhua News Agency
reported.
The blast went off in the parking lot of the Tianhu Hotel
in the city of Chenzhou at about 9:50 a.m. (0150 GMT),
breaking windows and wrecking parked vehicles, Xinhua
reported.
Xinhua reported that a preliminary investigation suggested
the blast might have been caused by a "high explosive."
