The latest Diageo/Hotline poll finds that a generic Democratic candidate would beat a generic Republican candidate, 47% to 29%, in a 2008 presidential matchup.

3. With the politically uninformed, it's name recognition. Rudy by
far has the most name recognition of all the Repub candidates.

Everyone saw him in action when the country was in crisis, and no one doesn't know who he is.

Mitt Romney? John McCain? A lot of ordinary people have NO idea who those men even are.

9. Too bad Dame Rudy beats most Dems in most polls
Yes, people prefer a Dem, but we need to nominate the right one (not Hillary) and hope that the Repubs nominate a wrong one (Mitt or Newt.)
