Army tells managers to prep for potential money crunch

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Army has warned program managers to prepare for a possible money crunch if President Bush vetoes an emergency war spending bill that calls for the eventual withdrawal of combat troops from Iraq.

But analysts say Pentagon staff will be the first to face cuts.

In a memo sent Monday, the Army Budget Office warned that a resolution to the standoff between Bush and Congress over the bill "is doubtful before the end of April."

...

Bush has said the Democratic leadership of Congress would be to blame if he vetoes the bill.

...

But they said a worst-case scenario eventually could see commanders without the fuel, ammunition or other supplies needed to pursue the enemy.

Under those conditions, American units would have to hunker down and wait for resupply -- or hand over more combat responsibilities to the Iraqi military and police.

So if Bush vetos the bill and forces the Pentagon to make cuts, it has nothing to do with him. It's all the Democrat's fault.
There's a responsible public servant for you.

6. The Pentagon had 1 hour after the planes hit the WTC towers on 9/11

And under Commander AWOL and Rummy they could not even muster a pea shooter to defend Washington, or themselves.

So throw the lazy republicon bums out of the White House and Pentagon command bunkers. They were doing NOTHING to defend America on 9/11.

Axing these republicon jokers in uniform will not reduce America's defenses even a smidgen.

Throw the republicon hacks out of the Pentagon.

And put some real soldiers in. Soldiers who will be commanded by leaders with at least a smidgen of competence.
