Democrats skeptical of administration talk on Iran
February 11, 2007

<snip>

Dodd, D-Conn., said the administration could be laying the groundwork for an attack on Iran and that "I'm worried about that. That's how we got into the mess in Iraq," by relying on what Dodd called "doctored information."

...

Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., said that ultimately Iran wants a stable Iraq and that the United States needs to engage in diplomacy.

Senate Intelligence Committee member Ron Wyden, D-Ore., said "the administration is engaged in a drumbeat with Iran that is much like the drumbeat that they did with Iraq. We're going to insist on accountability."

On the Republican side, Sen. Trent Lott of Mississippi said he does not think the United States is trying to make a case for attacking Iran. Lott said the U.S. should try to stop the flow of munitions through Iran to Iraq but that "you do that by interdiction ... you don't do it by invasion."

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, spoke in more aggressive tones, saying that "we have to do everything within our power to stop" any cross-border flow.

2. The problem I see with just being worried about it is...
What are you prepared to do about it? As in like yesterday.... This thing could happen tomorrow, and the damn Dems will still be standing around saying, duh, Why are they doing this..... NOW FOLKS, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.... Lets get on with it.... It's called Fast Track...

4. Not only am I skeptical, I just don't give a fuck
They could tell me I could already be a lucky winner of the Global War on Everything Sweepstakes, which is something I already know, and I wouldn't be listening. The principle is simple: THEY LIED AND GOT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE KILLED, so therefore I don't care about anything those lying fucks have to say no matter what it is and no matter when they say it.

In fact, the only thing I want to hear Bush Administration figures saying from here on out is "We confess and please don't hang us for treason and warcrimes."

8. So are they going to stop him this time?
They had better do their duty and stop this mad man before he launches the attack.

Furthermore, stopping bu$h will not be enough, they will have to restrain Cheney as well as the Sec of Def and Kindasleazy as well.

They had better move fast... I predict we will have attacked Iran by Easter.
