(SD) Legislators: Abortion Ban To Be Introduced Again
Lawmakers have confirmed that a bill banning most abortions in South Dakota will be introduced again in the Legislature, although it will contain exceptions for rape, incest and the health of women.

The measure is in the final drafting stages, and it is expected to be offered early next week.

Tuesday is the deadline for individual lawmakers to introduce bills.

1. As well, an additional provision has been inserted which will
require all pregnant women to have the Ten Commandments posted on their uterus.

3. The voters rejected the first
bill already.

I think it is now time for them to move past that, and reject some of their legislators in the next election.

4. Absolutely - they are wasting taxpayer money at this point.
The people have spoken, THEY DON'T WANT IT! Find something worthwhile to do, like putting a stop to the murdering of our troops over in Iraq. Now that's something that most taxpayers would support at this point.

6. It Costs Them Nothing to Introduce it Again And Again & We have to Spend $$$$$ to Fight It
We have to win every time, everywhere they do this.

They only have to win once, somewhere, then it goes to the Supreme Court and they win.

i guess they'll dust this off every couple years now? its gotta make money for 'em or they wouldn't bother. i wonder if the fundies realize the pols involved care far more about the $$$ than the fetuses.
