No Evidence Found that Iraq Sought Uranium From Africa, say Pentagon Sourc
http://www.voanews.com/article.cfm?objectID=DD1DBCD7-7A5A-4F2E-A186BBAA92405934

Defense and intelligence officials say no evidence has been found in Iraq to support allegations the regime of Saddam Hussein was seeking uranium in Africa for its nuclear weapons program, a controversial allegation made months ago by British and American political leaders.

The original charges about Iraq's purported efforts to acquire uranium in Africa for its nuclear program were based in part on what have since been discredited as fabricated documents provided by foreign intelligence sources.

But some U.S. and British officials, including Prime Minister Tony Blair and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, have indicated they still believe the allegations are true.

Pentagon says "no" - Rummy the Dummy says "yes" :wtf:

2. It is completely bi-polar
a complete manipulation of the truth. Right before our eyes yet so many seem blinded.

3. The Building vs Rummy. Payback is a bitch.
Recall the Services have their own itnernal intel operations, not part of that rogue operation being run out of OSD.

And also dont forget the infighing between the uniformed services and Rummy...there has been on ongoing bureacratic power struggle.

So, just as we saw those Pentagon leaks before the war and during the early days, so we are now seeing similar leaks about bad intel.

Note this is not specifically about "Niger Yellocakwe", but about "African" sources in general. The Bush gang aknowleges that the Yellow Cake story was bogus and they knew that.

But Bush is still standing by the other "British" intel on African uranium.

Now this Pentagon source is saying thats bad, too.

Well!

4. I am shocked. Shocked!
Feeling very like the police chief in Casablance right now...

So, I guess now we round up the usual suspects.

5. On no, for something this important
We should round up twice the number of usual suspects! The Nazis will be impressed with our efficiency.
