In a land defined not only by borders but by laws that create equalities and the granting of Rights, America has always been viewed as a nation that possesses much promise. Over a century ago that promise was termed the "American dream" and waves of immigrants poured into this great and promising nation. The great wars, WWI and WWII were the wars to end all wars, where America defended the rights of the people against oppressors of the less fortunate. A growing movement a generation later sought to fight for all humanities rights, and justice seemed to be prevailing. America became the land of the Free, home of the Brave, where Justice reigned supreme. Land of the Free. , it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume, among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. The future rested in the hands of men, so oppressed by a government that seized upon opportunity to take advantage of it's colonies to the degree that the people of this land became enslaved to that government, that they took it upon themselves to resist that oppressor and "throw off" it's form of governance so as to establish their own, making them the truest patriots America has ever seen. From their hard work and commitment, they forged out a new Republic and called it the United States of America. And with the creation of this institution, they granted to the people, that which the former King would not, unalienable rights. Rights that no man can nor should be allowed to restrict at any time, least they become the oppressor to the Rights that WE THE PEOPLE are granted by our Founders. . It is time to now debate what "other" freedoms need to come under attack by our own people.
Yes, the Land of the Free is no longer a land where it is recognized what is self evident: that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. This has given way to an alternate thought; that there are those that don't rise up to that level and can and seeingly arguably should be refused their rights. And in this light of wisdom, it is advisable by these thinkers to recuse themselves of any liability to the actions of their thoughts, just in case they have to be held to some degree of accountability if they are found needing to be held in contempt for any grievances against this Declaration of Rights. In other words, they hold themselves outside the realms this self evident moment that our Founders recognized. They hold themselves unequaled to ALL MEN.
I declare at this moment, that those that fail to fight and protect for our unalienable Rights as Americans are not advocates for America nor Her citizens but are subverts to America and her way of life. They argue that somehow, since 9/11, things have changed. What they mean to say and should be questioned and questioned often is that somehow our Founders got it all wrong 230 years ago. That for this past 230 years these freedoms were too free and granted too much Liberty to ALL MEN. That there must be degrees of equality that grant you your freedom accordingly. Those that propagate this mindset are not patriots for America but instead are rebels against America. Treasonous to varying degrees based upon their social and political status. They seek to return America to Her former self; a land ruled by TYRANNY.
Home of the Brave
How brave must have been our Founders to have forged a Nation, free from it's oppressive Authoritarian tyrant King George, into becoming a Nation where freedom and Liberty is respected above all things. To fight against an oppressor that out manned, out gunned, and was economically superior to that of oneself requires great courage and conviction. And to do all this not on some foreign land where the home populace is disconnected but instead on your own parcel of land where it is your neighbor that you assist in defending, one must not only be brave, one must be a Patriot to the cause. Independance.
When a time where ALL MEN were not treated equally based upon their race, freedom once again reigned. Emancipation enforced that freedom spirited pride which American Patriots fought for again. America had Her Civil War and many brave soldiers went to their deaths to preserve and protect against agitators to the American principle that was self evident: that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
The Two Great Wars were subsequently fought abroad not to protect America from agitators, but instead to free those oppressed by agitators to the greater principles concerning life, Liberty, and Justice for all. That ALL MEN meant ALL MEN. This was not an exclusionary term to mean just Americans, but ALL MEN became affected by treaties and agreements entered into by America, domestically or abroad. Freedom.
A little more than a half a century past the end of these Two Great Wars, Americans found that the battles to end all wars really established the dominance of a new American principle. Born out of the need to affect change for ALL PEOPLE, the world has seen great threats such as Nazism and Communism crumble into fragments that are now viewed globally as the most offensive oppressors out there to ALL MANKIND. This American principle was considered the "standard" of measurement to which the degree of oppressiveness was held up against. The bravery and patriotic resonance carried with it the stamp of approval or disapproval. And it was always America that came courageously forward to fight for the rights of ALL MEN.
The last decade has not seen this action from America. Where the rights for ALL MEN are protected, preserved, and fought for. Instead what the world has seen coming out of America is not bravery nor is it courageous. The need for the restriction and limitation of the Rights granted to ALL MEN.
I declare at this moment, America is no longer the Home of the Brave but instead a shelter dominated by cowards. So afraid of human rights and of their own Constitution they take upon themselves to seek out a necessity to usurp those Rights that are self evident: that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. That in doing so, limiting and restricting those Rights to those they deem privileged enough to be granted them, they proclaim themselves warriors and champions of Rights and Liberties because they recuse of themselves the ability to be a Patriot to the American principle, to Her Declaration of Independence, and to Her Founders and brave souls that gave us this great Nation.
There is no courage needed to restrict the unalienable Rights of ALL MEN. There is no courage in advocating the need to rethink these "freedoms" and redefine what they may be. That is not Patriotic wisdom. It is Treasonous to America and all that She was carved out to be. And all it takes is brave men to do nothing. It takes no courage, no bravery to make a stand of no convicion to America. Cowards one and all.

Least the next declaration BE for the Justice of America and the need to break free from those that seek to commit acts of oppression and Authoritarian rule over the people, thus seeking to desrtoy America and all that She stands for. Then and only then shall real Justice Reign Supreme.
