State senator pulls gun on teens
State Senator Tim Burchett says he put a stop to some would-be thieves on his property Wednesday.

Burchett says about two weeks ago a motorcycle went missing from his warehouse off Ball Camp Road.

After that, he staked out the place night and day, hoping to catch the culprits.

On Wednesday morning, he says he got them.

1. I think he didexactly what I would have done. Do you have a problem
with what he did?

Someone tries to take my belongings, I'm not going to be happy!

6. It could have gone badly...
Knowing there was a situation, I would have installed a security cam
and caught the thieves on tape. Then reported it to the authorities for
the pickup..

This fellow was lucky the purps were unarmed. He might have overreacted and used his gun
and like I said....

And my luck, they wouldn't have been teens..

4. Good for him. . .
criminals safely captured, stolen property restored, justice served on a cookie plate (possibly with milk).

The only thing wrong with this article is the headline. It should have more accurately reflected the story: "State Senator Captures Criminals Gang" would have been more truthful.
