1. These are "human neural stem cells"--not embryonic
Research using embyronic stem cells is definitely needed. But good work is being done with other types of stem cell.

2. yes, true
these guys are looking at a possible cure for batten's disease. just think what we'll be able to do when we can resume research with new lines of embryonic stem cells.
