Harris seen as undercutting other GOP candidates
October 26, 2006

"It can't be helping them that she is not competitive," said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.

"A Republican doing well on the top of the ticket would certainly help Republicans lower down on the ticket," Brown said. "It would be naive to think that the reverse is not true."

The latest Quinnipiac poll shows Democratic U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson with a 35 point lead - 64 percent to 29 percent - over Harris in their Senate race. Another 7 percent were undecided. Of those who support a candidate, 10 percent said they might change their mind before voting.

When told of the 35-point spread Wednesday night, Harris said: "That's outrageous. That's so ludicrous. We will win as long as we turn out the base."

have joined "raving lunatic" in the lawsuit. "Graduate of the Tammy Faye Baker School of Cosmetology Disasters" has yet to weigh in, though.

Oh, my God... That is beyond a rout... That is beyond humiliating. That level of denial is evidence of severe mental illness, I am afraid... My heavens...

4. Remember, she believes George Bush won the 2000 election
and it didn't matter what the vote count was.

11. Maybe it'll balance out Connecticut
...where Lieberman is undercutting Democrats running for House seats.

I'd love to see the Democrats win so strongly in the Senate that they don't *need* Lieberman. He needs to be slapped down. Hard.

14. I'll have some of whatever Krazy Katie's drinking/smoking/ingesting.

Her opponent leads her by 64 percent to 29 percent. And she still thinks she has a shot at it!? She's most definitely living in a parallel universe.

Obviously she still thinks she has friends at Diebold. She certainly doesn't have any in the Florida GOP. They publicly wrote her off long ago.

21. Not necessarily. With her, I'd guess it's more like cosmetic base.
The increasing amounts of foundation she needs to spackle onto her face as the aging process continues. Could also apply to undergarments...

22. what goes around, comes around
Funny that she's "undercutting other GOP candidates ," considering her claim to fame was artifically propping up one particular losing GOP candidate in a close race.
