15. Actually, it is based on a sermon I heard long ago

The subject was Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. The message was that the "all" was not limited to white Anglo-Saxon Protestant heterosexual politically conservative middle-aged men, but included also the handicapped agnostic radical lesbian of color, too. I merely extended it to encompass the idea that since we all are made in God's image.... :hi:

I can understand that this doesn't sit well with many people, but I'm not really sure this is a big deal. If the guy thinks that prayer makes a difference in his life, then let him request it. If people getting the email believe the same way, then they can all pray for him. If they don't, they can delete it. (I am assuming this was an email to his supporters vice a general email blast off a list.)

Personally, I think God has more important things to deal with. But if prayer makes this guy feel better, is it really news?
