Apparently Michael J. Fox is kicking into high gear on his stem-cell campaign. He's made ads for MD and MO Senate races and will be appearing with Tammy Duckworth in IL-06.

No one is explaining how these tactics could both be simultaneously true, let alone one of them.

But Fox seems intent on getting his message out in spite of the Repuke screechings and will be appearing with Tammy Duckworth:

WHEATON, Ill. (WBBM/AP) -- Actor Michael J. Fox joins Democratic congressional candidate Tammy Duckworth at a rally for stem cell research at the Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton this afternoon.

Fox, 45, has struggled with Parkinson's disease for more than a decade. Stem cell research holds promise in the search to cure diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

Duckworth, who supports stem cell research, is running in Illinois’ 6th Congressional District against Republican Peter Roskam for the seat being vacated by GOP stalwart Henry Hyde.

Roskam is set to hold his own news conference, in response to the Duckworth-Fox rally. He's to appear at noon in Bartlett with Roy Pollack, an adult cancer survivor.

7. The pugs are squealing like stuck pigs now that Democrats have an

emotional social issue that works against Republican candidates. Pugs have no problem exploiting the abortion and gay marriage issues to the hilt and demonizing Dem candidates with them.
