Lawsuit says (Jerry Brown) not qualified to be attorney general.
http://www.fresnobee.com/263/story/8341.html

SACRAMENTO — Jerry Brown's eligibility to serve as attorney general is being called into question by two Republican Party officials who plan to file a lawsuit today seeking to disqualify the Oakland mayor for the office.

If successful, the move could pave the way for Republican challenger Chuck Poochigian of Fresno, who has been trailing Brown in the polls.

... Brown spokesman Ace Smith called the suit a "desperate frivolous act of a failing campaign." Brown has "been admitted to practice for nearly a half century," he said.

Poochigian's campaign is not a plaintiff but supports the case, said spokesman Seth Unger.

to be Secretary of Defense, or Condi to be... etc.

2. That is a load of nonsense
But, then Jerry was foolish to go inactive and create even the suggestion of a doubt about his status.

like residency, being admitted to practice law in the state, or whatever?

8. I've already voted for him. I don't care one whit about his
qualifications. He's the Dem. I WON'T EVER vote Republican again as long as I live.
