Bush to Iraqi leader: We support you

WHITE HOUSE Some members of Congress may be talking about setting a deadline for pulling U-S troops out of Iraq. But President Bush remains committed to completing the job.

He made that clear today while assuring Iraq's prime minister he has no plans to withdraw troops.

Bush repeated his intentions this morning during a 15-minute phone call to ease Prime Minister Nouri's concerns about what he's been hearing.

White House spokesman Tony Snow said the president's message was, "Don't worry, you still have our full support."

1. Psst! George, we're over here!
The voters are over here, not over there.

The tax payers are over here, not over there.

We're the ones you should be supporting. We're Americans. Remember us?

If you're so worried about the Iraqis, why don't you move over there, so we don't have to put up with you over here?

Bush Tells Iraq PM: Ignore Deadline Talk

By NEDRA PICKLER

WASHINGTON Oct 16, 2006 (AP)— President Bush personally assured Iraq's prime
minister Monday that he has no plans to pull U.S. forces out and to ignore
rumors that a deadline would be enforced against the fledgling Baghdad government.

The president's pledge came in a 15-minute morning phone call with Prime Minister
Nouri al-Maliki, who told Bush he was concerned because he had been hearing that
the United States was giving him a two-month timeline to operate on his own.

"He said that rumors sometimes can undercut confidence in the government and also
its ability to work effectively in fighting terror," said Bush spokesman Tony Snow.
"And the president said, `Don't worry, you still have our full support.' "

a shit about our troops out there, it's not his ass on the line. I just hate the guy.

"ignore deadline comment" he says to Maliki, just like he ignores everything including us.
