Russian Tass news agency says business chief murdered
MOSCOW (Reuters) - The business chief of Russian state news agency Itar-Tass was killed on Monday in his flat, Tass reported citing sources in Moscow's Prosecutor General's office.

Anatoly Voronin, 55, Tass's business manager, died "as a result of multiple knife wounds," a source told Tass.

Voronin's body was found by his driver in central Moscow. Voronin had worked at Tass for 23 years.

1. What in the world is going on over there?
Isn't this the third or fourth murder of prominent news people in Russia recently??

2. Putin is EVIL
They are going all the way back to the Soviet style government. And guess what? People LOVE it, they want the "kind tsar" to make all the decisions for them.
I have a good friend who is a journalist in St-Petersburg and the stories I hear make me realize we have a real plurality of opinion in our government in the US.

3. He can't be. Dubya looked into his eyes and saw his soul.
Or maybe he saw a soulmate.

4. We have a real plurality of opinion in our government?
Sure, if you mean between Cheney and Rumsfeld, Rice and Rove, etc. I don't think partisan plurality is much to hoot about, though.

I'm not surprised if the Russians want an authoritarian to make decisions for them. We have the same problem here. It appears to be a general human failing. We're all headed back to the USSR.
