I give credit for the balls these journalists have reporting in Iraq. Almost no one there wants them telling the truth about what's happening on the ground.

He was speaking at the inquest of Terry Lloyd, 50, a reporter for British TV station ITN, who died in March 2003 near Basra in southern Iraq after getting caught in crossfire between Iraqi and US troops.
Nicholas Walshe, a fellow ITN journalist who worked with private investigators to find out how Lloyd died, told the hearing that he spoke to several Iraqis who claimed to have seen the shooting.
A witness told him that Lloyd had been "shot in the head by US troops", he added at the inquest in Oxford, southern England.
