W back to WTC site on Sept. 11
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/local/story/448515p-377581c.html

WASHINGTON - President Bush will visit Ground Zero to mark the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the White House announced yesterday.

Though plans were still in the works, Bush will also make appearances at ceremonies at the 9/11 sites at the Pentagon and in western Pennsylvania, according to White House spokeswoman Dana Perino.

"We have not announced all of those details yet. The one thing I can say is that the President will visit all three sites on the anniversary," Perino said.

maybe he will continue to look dippier, speech by speech. Sincerity is not one of his long suits except when he is discussing War, death and dying by our troops. Those deaths at the WTC, Pentagon and Penn. are considered collareral damage to this great leader.

A sort of freeway blogging campaign but just in NYC. Fill as much street architecture, windows, billboards etc with images of "The Pet Goat" (BTW was not "My Pet Goat" which is a music book)

What I find really frightening is that, in all the official fairytales, Bush saw (on TV) the first aircraft hit and does nothing. Then he is told "America is under attack," and either does nothing or follows the instructions of his Press Sectretary and Does Nothing

63. We'll know why he's there by his words
If Bush2 recognizes the people who died in the 9/11 attacks and those they left behind, then he's there for a memorial service.

If he goes on about terrorists and the need to sacrifice our civil rights in order to pursue them, pretends that the threat of terrorism didn't exist pre-9/11 or that Iraq is the "center of the war on terrorism" or claims that electing Democrats will further threaten our security, then he's obviously there as a fearmonger and neo-con shill.

90. People aren't outraged because he's attending.
They're outraged because after ignoring New York for 5 years (except to cut money for reconstruction and increased security and send it to Nebraska on the off chance they pose a tempting target for terrorists), he is now returning to exploit the tragedy for a few cheap political points. See, it's the five years that pisses me off, not the showing up now bit.

66. NY Daily News: W back to WTC site on Sept. 11
WASHINGTON - President Bush will visit Ground Zero to mark the 5th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the
White House announced yesterday.

Though plans were still in the works, Bush will also make appearances at ceremonies at the 9/11 sites at
the Pentagon and in western Pennsylvania, according to White House spokeswoman Dana Perino.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/local/story/448515p-377581c.html

So after reminding everyone this week just how little he did to help New Orleans after Katrina, now Bush feels
the need to point out that 5 full years after the attacks on 9-11 Osama bin Laden and his Al Qaeda people are
still at large and still killing Americans? What is this, the "Bush = Failure" tour?

Insane.
