BAGHDAD, Iraq - An Army soldier was killed in fighting during a raid
to capture foreign terror suspects south of Baghdad, the U.S. military
said Thursday, while police freed an Iraqi hostage and arrested his two
alleged kidnappers.

The soldier was killed Wednesday "when his unit came in contact with enemy

were also killed during the firefight."

"The unit was conducting operations to rid Iraq of foreign terrorists known

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Two U.S. soldiers were killed south of Baghdad,
the U.S. military said Thursday, while a series of attacks across the
country left at least 11 Iraqis dead and several wounded.

One U.S. soldier was killed Wednesday during a raid to capture "foreign

Two of the militants also were killed, it said, without elaborating.

The other American soldier died Thursday when his vehicle struck a

3. Pile the bodies higer

Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Iraq
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Baghdad
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Mossoul and Al Fallaujah

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
Let me work.
