Pawlenty laughs off rumors of vice presidential bid
http://www.startribune.com/stories/587/4237868.html

"On his weekly radio show today, Pawlenty laughed off speculation that he's being considered for the vice presidency if Dick Cheney decides not to seek a second term as President Bush's No. 2.

At least one Minnesota political newsletter has floated the idea of Pawlenty running with Bush if Cheney doesn't. "

Do I dare dream of getting rid of Doubledip, Blinky, Dickhead and the rest of the GOP clown posse in one fell swoop?

1. Interesting...
I'd love to see the democrats enter the WH in 2004 after having beaten Dubya/Pawlenty (ya gotta hate Cheney, ya just gotta!).

2. Do you really think getting Cheney out of office
is the same as getting his influence out of government?

He'll probably ALWAYS be an influence in the Defense Dept., via what one can only expect will be a long and profitable post-VP career as both an overt (he'll probably get back control of Halliburton or something like it) and covert (isn't he already a partner with Perle?) consulting with domestic and international companies engaged in the military/security industry.

Sorry to rain gloom on your dream. But even if he's voted out he's going to be around (well at least phoning in from a secure location) for a long time. And once out of office it'll be harder and harder to track and pre-empt his evil influence.

4. Gee,
they way W loves and respects Coleman you would think he would pick him as a running mate ... they all make me sick! Dang, now I'm all worked up and pissed off. Pawlenty and Coleman make my blood pressure go up! Worthless self-centered egotistical arrogant SOBs.

5. The neocons would pull a coup first
Edited on Fri Nov-28-03 06:56 PM by Snellius
before they'd let anyone as "liberal" as Pawlenty be only a heartbeat away from the prez.

Besides, if the neocons didn't get him, the drug pushers would find another way.
