Senator Reid Predicts Estate Tax Bill Will Fail
WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- A Republican plan to marry an estate tax cut with a minimum wage boost will fail in the Senate this week, U.S. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said Monday.

"This attempt at political blackmail is not going to work," Reid told the Center for American Progress. "The Senate has defeated irresponsible estate tax giveaways in the past, and we'll defeat it again this week."

Reid called pairing the estate tax and minimum wage "an unbelievable, partisan ploy."

"They're threatening to deny a $2.10 raise for 11 million Americans, if they can't give away billions to 12,000 of their wealthiest friends," he said.

"Today I have a challenge for Sen. Frist," Reid said. "If he's serious about valuing families, he'd quit insulting them by putting those at the top ahead of everyone else."

3. Yep, it is and I don't know how to fix it since the string is to long.
If you know how to include a hotlink with such a long string, please share.

As for the story, it can be found at: http://news.nasdaq.com/aspxcontent/newsHeadlines.aspx?
