Condition not LBN but sounds like he is actively dying now.

The condition of former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon, who has been in a coma since January, has deteriorated in the past two days, doctors caring for him said on Sunday.

Doctors at the Tel Hashomer hospital near Tel Aviv said Sharon, who fell into a coma after a stroke on January 4, was suffering from an accumulation of fluids in his body and problems with the functioning of his kidneys.

"Over the past two days the doctors have identified a deterioration in the kidney function...and changes in brain tissue," a statement issued by the hospital said. "The doctors are continuing tests in order to diagnose the changes which have taken place in Sharon's body and to administer the appropriate treatment."

Sharon's family was with him, the hospital said.

4. Looks like they're going to pull the plug
just in time to get the most out of it.

Time to rally the troops, I suppose.

6. I've known people in Ariel's condition
They can keep you alive as long as they want. Usually until your Medicare runs out.

11. How ironic that he has taken a turn downward while his country is
in the midst of a Kobayashi Maru. Makes me wonder if his mind is in tune with the energy that must be heavy in the atmosphere of the Middle East. I just wondered about him this past week.
