Merkel: G-8 Agrees on Mideast Statement

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (AP) - German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Sunday that the leaders of the Group of Eight had agreed on a joint statement that sends a ``strong message'' on the fighting in the Middle East.

``It is a strong message with a clear political content,'' Merkel told reporters. She said the statement calls for the abducted Israeli soldiers to be freed, for the attacks on Israel to stop and for Israel to end its military action.

Precise guided munitions only target the terrorists, therefore when those munitions kill civilians, it means that the civilians killed must be terrorists just like how the Baghdad maternity hospital (among others) was obviously a military target. If it wasn't, then why was it bombed?
